The second Strategy Board meeting of NAP took place on October 23rd in Balliol College, Oxford. The main items of discussion will be reported in the Progress Report for September and October 2015, which will be posted on our website. Something that does not necessarily come through in such reports is the discussion that takes place during the Strategy Board meetings that refines our thoughts, our direction and our goals. As a result, the definition of NAP on the webpage “THE PROJECT” has been changed in small but important ways. It now provides a clearer message that the purpose of NAP is to improve the quality of life of autistic people and their communities and that the our route to this is to produce economic arguments for greater investment in interventions that meet their needs.
